Students of Class V B presented their morning assembly on July 19, 2024, in which they showcased through a skit that “You cannot change your future but you can change your habits, and surely your habits will change your future”. Students showed a small story how bad habits can grow as a strong tree and become a part of our life, ultimately ruining our future. But if we work to change our habits, surely it will help us achieve the good goals of our life. Students participated enthusiastically for this.

A session on Self-awareness and self-discipline was conducted for the boys and girls of Class IV- V, separately by the Counsellor Ms Paridhi and Head Mistress Ms. Namrata on July 12, 2024. Emphasis was given to develop self-awareness through skills like self-reflection, meaning-making, and the process of honing core values and beliefs. Counsellor Ms. Paridhi spoke to attend to their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical selves. Children were told that self-awareness can lead to gratitude, hope, optimism, mindfulness, wisdom, and many other internal strengths that enrich their lives. Later on, discussion was done on respecting each and every individual, each other’s thoughts and also the belongings. No touch policy to be followed by everyone. Students were made aware how to walk or sit, about dressing sense, and also to share about daily routine with parents and teachers.

The students planted saplings and took pledge to protect the environment. They returned with a new resolve to care for trees and create awareness about importance of trees to the environment.

Investiture Ceremony & Foundation Day @ SPSSN

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, celebrated its 24th Foundation day along with the much awaited Investiture Ceremony on 1st of July, 2024. the event was graced by the Chief guest , Mr. Prasenjit Mund, The Resident Editor, Times of India, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and Special Guest, Mr. Ayan Jain, UPSC CSE AIR 16. The distinguished guests were welcomed with saplings . The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp . The Principal administered the oath to the newly elected student council members, emphasizing the school's motto of "learning through involvement" and encouraging their sincere dedication and also highlighted the responsibilities the student council members must assume, including being exemplary in behavior, working with sincerity, and creating a culture of compassion and reverence. The Chief Guest anointed badges to the student council office bearers and stressed the importance of discipline for students, urging them to maintain a disciplined approach in their academic and personal lives. He also encouraged teachers to be innovative in their teaching methods to foster an environment of creativity and continuous learning. The special guest through his speech encouraged the council members to lead by example and transmit perseverance, patriotism and punctuality to other students to make everyone successful. Meritorious students of Classes XI and XII were felicitated with cash prizes for their outstanding results in the 2023-24 session. The program also featured a fusion dance performance and a melodious song by the school choir. The Head Boy and the Head Girl, proposed the vote of thanks, and the ceremony concluded with the school anthem. The Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony fostered a sense of community, responsibility and environmental consciousness that will continue to resonate in the hearts of the audience present there.

Artesania & Wall Magazine activities were conducted for the students of Classes III-V

On June 26, 2024 the students of Classes III- V of Sagar Public school, Saket Nagar, participated in two activities designed to stimulate their creative and artistic potential: ARTESANIA, a coloring activity for class III students, and WALL MAGAZINE, drawing your imagination for class IV–V . The students produced wonderful artwork by showcasing their artistic abilities in drawing and coloring. They acquired the skill and enjoyed drawing to convey their opinions. Overall, it was a pleasant activity that allowed teachers to see children's innate creative flare displayed with enthusiasm.

A very insightful ASPIRE session on Guided Meditation by Dr. Varun Malhotra, Additional Professor, AIIMS Bhopal, was conducted for the students and staff on June 21, 2024. Around 1500 students and staff members participated in activities like prayer, chanting, breathing exercise and visualization to promote mindfulness and relaxation. Dr Varun Malhotra aimed to integrate holistic wellness into the educational curriculum emphasizing the importance of mental and physical well-being for overall academic success.

On June 19, 2024, the school once again came alive as the little ones from Nursery - III joined their older counterparts. As soon as the children entered the school gates, a special touch was waiting for them. The children were welcomed with warm smiles and gentle encouragement. Simple and attractive activities were planned. Songs and poems echoed through the classroom, making each moment a joyful learning experience. The playground echoed with the laughter of small children. It was a memorable day for the Nursery children as they painted their little hands with colors and inscribed in their picture books. At the end of the day, they not only promised of academic growth and personal growth but also the warmth of belongingness.

Orientation Program for Class XI students

he Orientation Program for Class XI students and their parents was conducted on April 13, 2024 welcoming students to the senior secondary section and to prepare them for the upcoming academic year. Parents and students were provided with a detailed overview of the academic programs and curriculum, explaining the subjects offered, evaluation and assessment pattern and special programs for preparation of various competitive exams. The session concluded with a Q&A session, where parents engaged actively, seeking clarifications and guidance on various aspects. The orientation was not only informative but also set a positive tone for the academic year, ensuring that students felt welcomed, informed, and ready to begin their journey in Class XI.

Career Counselling sessions

A Series of Career Counselling sessions has been started on April 03, 2024 at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, Bhopal with the first session for the students of Class XI, Humanities and Commerce. A group session was conducted for the students by Ms. Paridhi Jain, Counsellor. Session started by understanding basic difference between Career- Occupation- Job and connection between the three. Topics which should be concerned prior deciding a career were discussed, like values, components of career information, process of choosing a career option was majorly discussed. National trip at Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Mussoorie Students of Classes VIII and IX were taken to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Mussoorie from March 14, 2024 to March 20, 2024 on national trip. The journey commenced from Bhopal Station on March 14, 2024 at 8:40 PM, and the students arrived in Haridwar the following day. They engaged in various cultural and spiritual experiences, including a visit to the Mansa Devi Temple and witnessing the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har ki Paudi. The exploration continued on the subsequent day with a visit to Rishikesh, where the students had the opportunity to traverse the iconic Janki Jhula, explore the serene Ganga Ghats, and absorb the spiritual ambiance of Parmarth Yog Ashram. Following lunch, they visited the Bharat Mata Temple and indulged in a refreshing time at Har Ki Paudi. Transitioning to Mussoorie on the following day, the students explored the scenic beauty of the hill station. They immersed themselves in the local culture through shopping experiences on Mall Road and exhilarating rides on the Ropeway, concluding the day with a delightful dinner at the hotel. "In the journey of education, every excursion is a chapter worth cherishing." 114 students of Class XI and 11 teachers went on a National trip to Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar, and Panchgani from March 15, 2024 to March 21, 2024. Enriching their minds and souls, the students began their odyssey at the serene shores of Juhu Beach, where the morning breeze whispered tales of boundless possibilities. The iconic Gateway of India stood as a testament to Mumbai's rich history, captivating the young minds with its majestic allure. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes, the tranquil abode of Panchgani welcomed the travelers, offering respite in the embrace of nature's bounty. Here, the students paid homage to spirituality at the Mahabaleshwar Temple, and beheld the panoramic vistas from Tabletop View Point, Kate's Point, Elphinstone Point and Arthur's Seat etching memories of awe and wonder. The visit to the Mapro Juice Factory and Cheese Factory unveiled the intricate artistry behind delectable delights, igniting curiosity and appreciation among the young learners. Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, Bhopal organised its Graduation Ceremony at the school campus on March 6, 2024. The event marks a significant milestone in a child's educational journey, celebrating the transition from early childhood to elementary school.The program was graced by Dr. Sapna Bajaj, a senior, extremely committed gynaecologist of the city as Chief Guest. She has over 25 years of experience in training and practice. Currently, she is working at the Sagar Multispeciality Hospital, Bhopal. The ceremony included various performances and presentations showcasing the talents of the young graduates. About 100 participants performed on the stage. The program began with the invocation of the Goddess Saraswati, followed by a classical dance performance by the little Sagarites. The students unfolded their exciting sports story which includes javelin throw, zumba, basketball drill and calisthenics. They also presented a melodious song which surely touched the depths of everyone's hearts. The little Sagarites recited lovely poems and also presented a breath-taking Spanish dance. They spoke about their interesting journey in the Pre-primary section. The certificates were awarded to the graduates. An EVS competition on the topic- “My Inspiration” was conducted for the students of Classes III-V

” PERSONALITY HAS POWER TO UPLIFT AND POWER TO BLESS”. The purpose of this competition is to make a deep understanding of the concept and the interconnection between various characters which help us to learn values, enhance our ethical standards and create our interest for doing good for the society. Characters were picked up from the EVS book “LOOKING AROUND US”. It was conducted on February 07, 2024 in Sagar Public School , Saket Nagar, The participants of class III- V shared their thoughts about the renowned personalities from which they were inspired. Judges gave their insightful comments to enhance the participant's presentation and enrich their comprehension. Judges round was the most appreciable round were participants answered the questions asked by Judges. Overall it was a very good learning experience for students.

As an adult we see only a scribble, but for a small child it is a masterpiece. Scribble can do everything from sharpening the creativity to boosting the productivity, focus and mood. National Scribble day is celebrated on March 27 every year to celebrate the creativity and art associated with scribbling. Keeping the importance of scribbling in mind, scribbling geniuses of Class Nursery, Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar participated in the activity on February 7, 2024 where they drew different doodles out of scribbling. An ASPIRE visit to Jaipur Literature Festival was organized for the students of Classes VIII, IX & XI

“Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill.” Twenty students of classes VIII, IX and XI from Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar attended Jaipur Literature Fest at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur from February 02, 2024 to February 05, 2024. The 17th edition of the fest was based on the theme 'Stories Unite Us' and hosted about 230 plus speakers, authors, poets, thinkers, humanitarians, musicians, politicians, journalists and popular cultural icons representing 21 Indian and international languages as well as major awards such as the Nobel, the Booker Prize, the Pulitzer Prize and the Sahitya Akademi Award. The literature enthusiasts of SPS SN became a party to the 'greatest literary show on the Earth' that welcomed over millions of book lovers from across India and the globe. The festival was a magnificent feast of ideas for the students as they listened to the various intriguing panel discussions by the eminent speakers, witnessed mesmerising musical concerts by the most celebrated artists and visited the grand bookstore brimming with books on different genres by prominent writers. Engaging sessions were held on various burning issues and the topics of diverse interests like The value system in India, Pain of partition in Gulzar Saab’s poems, The future of Indian business and enterprise, need to conserve environment, history, religion and many more. Celebrating Republic Day with pride in the spirit of the Indian Constitution, Sagar Public School Saket Nagar joyously observed the occasion on 26.01.2024. The esteemed Director, Mr. K.K. Dubey, proudly hoisted the flag. Students, brimming with patriotism, showcased vibrant cultural programs. On this occasion, students passionately expressed their thoughts through speeches in Hindi. The event featured collective singing and dancing performances by the students. Stirred by patriotic sentiments, they recited a self-composed poem titled 'The Roar of Courage.' An educational trip was organized for Class XI Commerce stream to CEDMAP (Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Madhya Pradesh) on January 19, 2024 students were enlightened with valuable insights and came to know about the different schemes put up by the MP Government to support entrepreneurship, in the starting phase . Students visited the Incubators Centre to see the training unit provided by CEDMAP, for those who aspire to bring up their own start up in various industries. It was a great learning experience for the students and teachers to understand the concept of Entrepreneurship.

The trip was intended to ignite the passion for scientific exploration and discovery among the students. Students got the opportunity to explore professional Chemistry, Physics, and Biology labs. They were able to witness intriguing experiments and advanced instruments in these labs. They also got to engage with leading researchers, interact with the professors, and participate in hands-on experiments. The campus also made a strong impression with its well-maintained surroundings that enhanced the overall learning experience. Such trips play a crucial role in expanding students' knowledge and fostering their interest in science. The much-anticipated reunion of the Alumni Association of Sagar Public School, fondly known as ASAGA, took place on December 23, 2023, at the school premises in Saket Nagar, Bhopal. The much anticipated visit from Santa Claus filthy air with excitement as the younger ones lined up to meet him and receive a token of love disguised as sweet chocolates. The trips were organized to Sair Sapata, Manav Sanghralaya, Tribal Museum for students of class III, IV and V respectively. Educational trip to Sair Sapata was an enriching experience ,students engaged in hands-on learning , identified local flora and fauna, and gained insights into the delicate balance of nature. The trip fostered a deeper appreciation for the environment. In Tribal Museum students delved into the rich cultural tapestry of mankind, exploring exhibits that showcased traditional artifacts, art, and rituals. The museum offered a window into the unique customs, languages, and lifestyles of various tribal groups . They also visited Manav Sanghralaya which not only deepened their understanding of local history but also ignited a sense of pride in our heritage, emphasizing the importance of preserving and appreciating the cultural legacy that binds us together. Interschool Micromini Football Fiesta 2023 was organized by Sagar Public School Saket Nagar

“The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning.” – Pelé Interschool Micromini Football Fiesta 2023 was organized by Sagar Public School Saket Nagar from December 19, 2023 to December 20, 2023. The event commenced with an energetic opening ceremony, featuring oath taking ceremony, balloon release and the ceremonial kick-off, which created a vibrant atmosphere, setting the stage for an exciting competition. The tournament brought together a total of 14 boys and 08 girls enthusiastic teams from various schools, showcasing exceptional skills and sportsmanship. The honourableguest for opening ceremony Mr G K Shrivastava (President Madhya Pradesh Football Association) graced the occasion along with Madam Principal & Vice Principal encouraged the young footballers participating in the competition with their gracious presence, Sagar Public School Saket Nagar Girl's Team was the winner with Sagar Public School Rohit Nagar as the runner up. In the boys Category, Winner was Sagar Public School Saket Nagar whereas runner up was Vindhyachal Academy. The event concluded with a closing ceremony, where winning teams were awarded trophies and medals. Educational trips enhance learning by providing real-world experiences. They offer students the opportunity to connect classroom concepts with practical scenarios, fostering a deeper understanding of subjects. Taking this into consideration, Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, organized educational trips for its students of Classes VI-VIII on December 19, 2023. The trips were organized to the Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal, Regional Science Center and State Archeological Museum for Classes VI, VII and VIII respectively. Students observed every specimen on display in the Regional Museum of Natural History and learnt about the Flora and Fuana of Central India. They also visited the medicinal garden and learned about various plants and trees. The Regional Science Center offered an opportunity to explore, learn and understand the topics of Science, Geography and Maths. The State archeological Museum gave an opportunity to students to learn about various rulers of Madhya Pradesh among other things. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for the students as well as teachers to take learning outside of the class.

On December 16, 2023, the Pre-Primary section of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar embarked on an exciting adventure - a school picnic to the Kamla Nehru Children's Park! It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and lots of fun activities. Children enjoyed the exciting and safe train ride and also unleashed their energy at the park's play area, with swings, slides, and climbing structures. They danced on peppy songs. They also indulged in activities such as spotting the differences, picture sudokus, picture and number patterns. They also loved the activity Recall Round Up wherein their memory was tested. One of the major attractions of the event were the Brain gym activities like Stroope effect and double doodle which were designed to promote cognitive development and concentration. He is associated with India’s first solar space mission, Aditya-L1. He interacted with the students and teachers and enlightened the audience with the importance of schooling. The theme of the Annual function was “Change is Constant”. The program began with the lighting of lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati by the honorable chief guest & other dignitaries. Students presented a welcome dance on the song शुभम कुरुत्वम कल्याणम, आरोग्यम धन संपद: Change is the universal truth, an ever-present force that shapes our existence. Through different performances on rhythms of seasons, metamorphosis of caterpillars to butterflies, children showcased that change is the unchanging element in our lives. History is a testament to the constancy of change. Students took the audience back in time to witness the mystic transformation of dacoit Ratnakar to poet Valmiki and Chand Ashoka to Dharm Ashoka. Through the timeless tale of Vikram and Betal, students showcased that Change is Strength. During this meeting, parents had the opportunity to review the answer scripts of their children from the recent examinations, allowing them to gain insights into their academic progress and areas that may require more attention. The celestial award is given under four categories: Best Turnout, Best Communicator, the Enthusiast and the Most Regular. Four students from each class are selected for these awards. Seventy two outstanding students from 18 sections were awarded. It serves both as a reward and motivation for students to aspire to be the best that they can be. The Annual Cultural Extravaganza of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar commenced with great zest, vibrancy and elation on September 16, 2023. Renowned child psychologist of Bhopal, Dr. Anuradha Kushwaha graced the occasion as the chief guest. Over 500 students of Pre-Primary section participated in various performances staged during the function. The theme of this year’s Annual function was “Timeless Treasure”. The program began with the lighting of lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati by the honourable chief guest and other dignitaries. A soulful rendition was given by the students of class KG -II as the welcome song to mark the celebration of childhood. The highlight of the function was the skit on healthy choices. The children also presented dance forms of various countries as well as India and depicted that childhood is universal. The performances were breath taking and infused a sense of excitement among the parents and other spectators. The celebration concluded on a blissful note with the finale performance which featured that we are one :- One Earth, One Family and One Future. The Annual Function concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. R. Preetha, Headmistress, Pre-Primary Section.

National Sports Day" was celebrated at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar

An impressive programme was organized at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, to celebrate the birth anniversary of an unparalleled sports legend and hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand, as National Sports Day on August 29, 2023. Senior athletic coach from Sport Authority of India (SAI), Mr Manoj Kumar was present as the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was marked by the presentation of sports scholarship to the students for their outstanding performance in the field of various sports in session 2022-23. Several sports activities and competitions were organized for the students. A total of 32 students received scholarship. Parents of these students also attended the programme. In his address the chief guest Mr. Manoj Kumar emphasized the importance of sports, time management, culture and values in the life of students. He also explained how different sports are a reflection of our spirit, a testament to our determination, and a bridge that unites us all. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma also addressed the gathering and presented a memento to the chief guest as a token of gratitude.

India has always worked to retain peace with it's neighboring countries. But sometimes our efforts do not bear fruits and we have to defend our borders. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated commemorating one such valiant effort to defend our nation on the 26th of July. The students of Kaveri house presented the morning assembly on the 25th anniversary of Vijay Diwas with the enactment of the efforts made by the then Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the taking back of Tololing and Tiger hill. The act showcased the bravery of our soldiers against a backdrop of high mountains. The students were successful in making everyone relive the moment of patriotism.

Students participated wholeheartedly to convey the message that “Humanity is deeply woven into the life of Shri Sunil Bharti Mittal.” They portrayed that the life of Sunil Bharti Mittal serves as a reminder that true greatness lies in selflessly serving humanity. His journey teaches us that the boundaries of compassion are limitless and each of us can make a difference in the lives of others.

With this famous proverb in mind, the students presented the morning assembly through a short skit and gave a strong message that Time is very precious; we must use it wisely as it never returns back. Time brings opportunities for everyone who utilizes it. Students even gave Time Management Tips to schedule the day, judiciously. A mesmerizing dance was performed depicting the proper use of time.

Monsoon Activity was conducted for the students of Pre-primary section on August 16, 2023. The young students were engaged effectively and creatively with various activities. They expressed their joy over the monsoon with their craft activity by pasting cutouts of the things which are seen during the Rainy Season. They prepared and relished delicious fruit chat. The youngest Sagarites from Nursery also sailed the paper boats out in the garden.

The purpose of his visit was to inspire and educate students about space exploration, scientific research, and the exciting opportunities available in the field of space science. He has delivered a number of invited talks in NIT's, IIT's and other educational institutions. He had an interactive session with students that covered a wide range of topics related to space science, including satellite technology, space missions, lunar exploration, and upcoming projects. Curo Quiz 2023 on theme ‘G20 2023

leventh Edition of Intercity Curo Quiz 2023 on theme ‘G20 2023 INDIA was conducted at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on August 03, 2023. The quizzing rounds were conducted by Mr. Ajay Poonia, the Quiz Master, in various rounds of direct questions, audio video, buzzer round etc. A nail-biting and tough scoring battle in each round amongst the teams captivated the audience. On the basis of final scoring and points’ tally Satyam Kumar and Shreya Banchhor of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar Bhopal emerged as the winners, while Raj Bhargava and Kabir Dubey of Jawaharlal Nehru School, Bhopal grabbed the First Runners Up. Sagar Nigam and Diya Mishra of Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar emerged as the Second Runner Up.

An E Design Competition was conducted for the students of Class III-V

E- designing competition was organized for the students of classes III- V. Students were tested on the basis of their creativity and innovation, which they showcased on the computer screen. Judges were amazed to see the little students doing wonders while designing the e- cards as greetings for festivals, comic strips, front page of magazines etc. Students also enjoyed showing their creativity.

A Library activity was conducted for the students of Class I,

'Language is a gateway into another culture'. A library activity was conducted in the junior assembly on August 02, 2023. Students of Class I presented the story of 'The Lion and the Mouse' in Arabic, Bengali, Marwari, Marathi and Sindhi language. This activity was conducted to foster cultural awareness among the students of SPS.

English One Act Play Competition was conducted for the students of Class XI, B to G sections

Class XI, B to G, with the help of the English department, put up six one-act plays on August 02, 2023 and August 04, 2023. The plays included tragedies – The Trial of Socrates and Julius Caesar, short stories – The Retrieved Reformation, While the Auto Waits and The Ransom of Red Chief and a novel – Great Expectations. As a foray into the experiential model of learning, performing the plays helped to increase knowledge, develop skills and strengthen values. The judgement criteria for the plays were as follows - theme, characterization, plot and dialogue. For all concerned, it was time and effort well spent.

Nutrition Week was observed for the students of Class I-II, between July 31, 2023 - August 05, 2023.

"Exercise is the king. Nutrition is the queen. Put them together and you've got a kingdom." The thought was very well put in utilization when the Nutrition week for the young children of classes I and II was observed from July 31, 2023 to August 05, 2023. The children relished different suggested nutritive food each day. Interesting physical activities like yoga, zumba, aerobics, brain gym and PT exercises were also incorporated to promote the importance of fitness and developing stamina. The children also showcased their skill and creativity by participating in activities like mind mapping , vegetable printing etc. The aim to educate children on eating a well balanced diet and collaborating it with good mental and physical health was well achieved.

The Only Way To Do Great Work Is To Love What You Do

Students of class III A depicted the topic of their class assembly through a short skit. They showcased how we can make our planet a better place if we do what we love. Inspiration from the lives of Ms. Sudha Murthy, Mr. Chetan Bhagat, Mr. Steve Jobs, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was presented. Through their act they conveyed the message that unless you love what you do, you will not be able to contribute your 100%. The assembly concluded with a beautiful poem.

Creative Classroom

In this activity different themes were given to the children, like Rainy season, Space, Candy world; describing words, good manners etc. Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. They decorated their class with their handmade charts, colors and cutouts etc.

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition

Hindi poem recitation competition was conducted in Class I & II on 12/07/23. Children performed well and recited enthusiastically. Creative props were used by children and topics of the poem were very thought provoking.Like Save trees ,avoid using plastics etc.The programme was enjoyed by children of Class I & II. Judges were overwhelmed by their performance.

Clay Moulding Activity

Children have fun and funky sensation squashing and trampling the clay .” Taking a motivation from this idea, a “Clay Moulding Activity” was carried out by the students of Classes III- V of SPSSN wherein they used their imagination and creativity to make and decorate the models like fruit basket, idol of Ganesha, vegetables made from clay. This Art integration inclined activity was a great way to develop imagination and sparkle creativity to think out of the box……!!

Poetry Slam Competition was conducted for the students of Class XI

Poetry allows for freedom of expression, offering fresh insights into life and ordinary experiences. To unleash the creativity and imagination of the students, Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, organised a Poetry Slam for students of Class XI. The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and presented self-composed poems on various captivating themes. The participants presented their compositions under the guidance of their English teachers. SPS alumni, Ms Pragya Sharma and Mr Shourya Shrivastava were the jury members, along with the HOD English department, Ms Sunita Sharma, and the Head Mistress, Ms Deepa Nainan. Ms Pragya and Mr Shourya addressed the students and inspired them to develop an interest in literature. The participants were judged on the basis of their creativity, vocal strength, articulation and overall performance. Nandani Pare of XI B bagged the first position. Sai Swarupa of XI E stood second, and Priyanshi Singh of XI G secured third place. The event was a great success in letting the students explore their hidden talents, and stimulating and pushing their imaginations in thinking outside the box.

The chief guest, Shri Sai Krishna S. Thota, Deputy Commissioner of Police, graced the occasion with his presence. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge. The Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma welcomed the esteemed guest, parents and incited the office bearers to render their duties to the best of their ability. It was an honour to have Dr. Abhishek Galkate, an exceptional alumnus of the school, 2016 batch. He expressed his gratitude towards his school and teachers. He motivated the students to pursue their dreams come what may. The well-coordinated march past by the newly elected staff council and student council was a feast to the eyes. The office bearers received their prestigious Flag, badge and sash from the Chief Guest, Principal, Vice-Principal and Head Mistresses. The cabinet of the school took the solemn oath with a promise that they would dispense out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. It was a proud moment for all the Parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The chief guest of the occasion congratulated and appreciated the efforts put by the students. He appreciated the discipline of the school and the well-coordinated event. It was indeed a proud moment for them, their parents and the school. Fusion dance enthralled the audience with exuberant moves and left them spell bound. The choir of the school presented a melodious song which perfectly suited the occasion The Head Boy, Yash Modi and Head Girl, Shreya Banchor proposed the Vote of thanks, and the programme culminated with school anthem and jubilation.

The theme was excellently elaborated in the most interesting and creative way by dramatizing the natural objects, the Sun, the cloud emphasizing the fact "Mankind's prosperity is driven by nature's Punctuality". The character of immortal Time proclaimed the four D's principles of punctuality: Discipline, Discretion, Diligence and Determination. The skit finally concluded with the fruits of life such as L for loyalty, I for Identity, F for Faith and E for Enthusiasm by practicing the 4D's principles of punctuality

Business Face to Face Activity was conducted for the students of Class XI-XII Commerce, on June 28, 2023.

Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” Students in this activity took up roles of famous successful businessmen and interacted with each other to share their experiences and outlook towards businesses and how they worked hard to reach where they are today. The participants performed confidently and put up a good show for the audience. The interactions were informative and everyone enjoyed seeing them keeping their views forward.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the second Vande Bharat train on June 27, 2023 at Rani Kamlapati Railway station the students got this enthralling experience of interacting with the world's most popular leader, our PM Shri Narendra Modi ji. 20 students @ SPS SN of class XI, became a part of this heartening event. Much to their enchantment were captivated by the once in a lifetime experience of sharing their views with the PM. Manas Atrekar, Gunika Malviya, Riza Asif, Mukund Pare, Priyanshi Srivastava in coach 1 interacted with the PM. "Down from the door where it began Now far ahead the Road has gone And I must follow if I can." "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar celebrated "International Yoga Day" with students of Class VI and their teachers. A yoga session, focusing on asanas and pranayama was conducted. Children were incredibly excited and learnt the cultural importance of Yoga. They displayed flexibility, strength, and mindfulness throughout the program. Yoga promotes physical and mental well-being and the event encouraged children to include Yoga in their everyday life.

ATL Community Week Celebration

TL SPSSN celebrated community day in continuation with ATL community week. Students from other school branch visited the ATL and were thrilled to make their own robotic cars with mechatronic kits . The students were given exposure for different applications of AI and robotics. Along with this the students had a chance to get hands on workshop for Pro Kit for mechatronics with ATL Mentor Mr. Chandrashekhar who is a 3 D designer at AVM Infotech Delhi. He showed the basic codings and designs to the students.

Don’t settle.” Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar organized a "Career Fair" for the students of Classes IX-XII of Saket Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Rohit Nagar and Katara Extension Branches in school premises on April 28, 2023. The event was intended to provide career guidance to the students by the resource persons from top Indian and international universities. An engaging and interactive session was conducted by Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, an aptitude trainer and motivational speaker. Students were informed about contemporary and new age career options available after standard XII, skill based careers, and tips and tricks to crack competitive exams like CUET, SAT, CLAT, NDA, UCEED, JEE etc. They also learnt about 21st century skills required to excel in professional life. Students also had one-on-one interaction with the representatives from various renowned universities and got to know about the admission criteria over there. Overall, the event had been a great success in guiding the students about the right career choices available for them as per their capacities.

Inter-House English Quiz

Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere". To imbibe the true spirit of learning in students an Inter-House English Quiz Competition was organized in the presence of a joyful and electrifying audience in the school auditorium for Classes VI-VII on April 26, 2023. The quiz tested knowledge of the genre, figures of speech, grammar, vocabulary and eminent authors. The competition was intended to build and hone the thinking and analyzing skills of the students. The Quiz Masters Saavya Awasthi and Gaurang Tulsyan of Class X made the event spectacular with their outstanding quizzing skills. Kaveri House emerged as the Winner of the competition. Introductory PTM of academic session 2023-24, for Classes Nursery-XII, was conducted at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on Friday, April 21, 2023, with a goal of bringing parents and teachers together to identify a student's strengths and weaknesses, develop a plan of action to strengthen those weaknesses, identify any potential amplifying or impediments to the student's learning, and become a united support system to help the student become their best academic self. Teachers discussed with the parents the ways by which they can help their wards to excel in various scholastic and co-scholastic activities. Parents interacted with the Counsellor and activity teachers in the quadrangle. Parents largely appreciated the efforts of the teachers and expressed their satisfaction.

The Annual Exhibition - "Spectrum 2023"

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, Bhopal conducted its annual exhibition, "Spectrum 2023" on April 15, 2023. The event showcases students' talent for creativity and innovation. Spectrum focuses on promoting experiential learning, research skills, collaborative learning and team work. Students from Class VI to Class X participated in it. Students prepared projects and presentations on all subjects including computer and ATL. The elite panel of judges consisted of eminent subject experts and also senior students of class XII. The theme for presentation ranged from G20, Go Green to art integration in subjects. Students showcased projects on sustainable development, innovative working models on poly house farming, energy conservation devices, solar power projects, garbage treatment plant for non bio degradable materials. There were beautiful displays in languages on musical instruments, poems, non fictional writing and audio visual newspaper. The students enthusiastically presented their work and expertly answered the questions posed by judges. The event provided an excellent opportunity application and skill based learning.

An Aspire Talk with International Photographer Mr. Vicky Roy was organised for the students @ SPS SN.

An Aspire session was conducted for the students in Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar with internationally renowned photographer Mr. Vicky Roy on April 08, 2023. He shared with the students his extraordinary journey from humble beginning to worldwide fame. He also shared with that how he gives back to the society through photography. He works with various NGOs, meets different people and shared their stories with the world. He gave a glimpse into the world of photography, how a photographer should have a unique perspective of the world. The general session was followed by a workshop on photography in which children were taught finer points of photography. The session was well appreciated by one and all.

Wall Magazine Activity

A Wall Magazine Activity was conducted on April 05, 2023 for the students of Classes III- V of SPS, SN, in their respective classrooms. Activity was conducted for the promotion of self creativity and artistic excellence of students. Students along with their respective class teachers displayed the wall magazines

National Educational tour for the students of Class XI, 2022-23

Travel makes you realize that no matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn. National Educational tour for the students of Class XI, 2022-23 was organized @ Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar. Students visited Ahmedabad city and – Statue of Unity- Vadodara. Students visited many places in Ahmedabad on day one including Science City, ISKON temple and Kankariya lake. On the day two students visited historical monument "Rani ki Vav". They felt enriched after knowing the history behind it. Akshardham Temple was a great spiritual experience for the students. The Light and sound show at the temple premises added to this wonderful experience. On the day three students visited Kamati Bagh, Gandhi Ashram and proceeded towards Kavadiya Vadodara. The weather was pleasant and beautiful.Students visited Statue of Unity where they saw the world's tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Later they also had an experience to know the maratha royalty by visiting Lakshmi Villace Palace (Vadodara) built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. Overall, the trip ended with beautiful lifelong memories which students and teachers will cherish forever.

Bagless Day @SPS-SN

True education does not happen only at a desk, but rather engaging in everyday living-hands and also exploring in active relationship with life ” Bagless day was conducted for the students of classes III-V in Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar where all the children participated enthusiastically in various activities like collage making, clay moulding, mask making. They also attended a special Life skill session on communication skill. Few sports stations were made, were they actively participated and enjoyed various sports activities. Cultural program was organized at the end of the day where an instrumental program was performed by students. The program culminated with musical dance drama on holi celebration. The bagless day was filled with adventures, laughter and memories and taught the important lesson to the children that the future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in a creative way.

Graduation ceremony of Preprimary students

Graduation ceremony of Preprimary students, The Alpha Welcome Ceremony was conducted at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on March 03, 2023. Talents and skills are the crops that are nurtured, groomed and given all the possible opportunities to grow and bloom. Graduation Day is a harvest of this crop. The students of class KGII participated actively and hosted the programme with confidence. They mesmerized the audience with their scintillating performances. Dr. Shikha Malik, the Professor and Head of the Paediatrics Department at AIIMS, Bhopal was the esteemed Chief Guest of the ceremony. She enlightened the audience with her wonderful thoughts. The parents were overjoyed to watch their little angels in graduation attire. The program was well organized and appreciated by the audience

National level in National Children's Science Congress

Inter School Micro Mini Football Fiesta 2022 @ SPS SN.

"Winning is not everything, but making the effort to win is."-Vince Lombardi Interschool Micromini Football Fiesta 2022 was organized by Sagar Public school Saket Nagar from December 20, 2022 to December 21, 2022. A total of 14 boys teams and 08 girls teams participated in the competition. Sagar Public School Saket Nagar Girl's Team was the winner with The Sanskar Valley School as the runner up. In the boys Category, Winner was Army Public School whereas Runner up was Sagar Public School Saket Nagar. The honorable guest for opening ceremony Ms. Kanchan Patel, National Player of Football and Netball, National and International player of Blindball, encouraged the players with her gracious presence.

Annual Function 2022-23 - "Virtuous Assets"

Amidst glittering lights and a myriad of hues, the 20th Annual Function of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar was held on November 19, 2022, with the theme "Virtuous Assets." The students showcased performances venerating the seven virtues of life - faith, hope, prudence, charity, courage, justice, and temperance. The annual function was embellished as a provenance of cultural and artistic renditions. Virtuous dramas, exhilarating dances, and harmonious music amplified the joy of the occasion. Mr. Srijan Pal Singh, a renowned author, public speaker, education innovator and social entrepreneur graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his speech he urged the students to develop a love of reading and to take ownership of their lives with responsibility, right attitude, determination, inquisitiveness and passion without fear of failure. The Chairman's speech enlightened everyone in attendance. The annual report was presented by the Vice Principal Ms. Shraddha Kanungo. The program stood accomplished seeking the embrace of the virtues in each individual. The cogency of the event was remarkably directed through the cherished admiration of the dignitaries and the galore of spectators.

Junior Annual Function, 2022 "Expressing Exuberance"

The Sagarites of pre primary and primary were all set to teleport the audience into their dream world through their mesmerizing dances and skits on the first day of the Annual Function entitled “Expressing Exuberance”. The creative ideas of depiction had enabled the students to visualize a world without its physical limits and we all know that imagination is the beginning of creation. The sagarites of lower primary through their presentations depicted that through the qualities of intellect, wit and politeness, one can excel in life. Students took the audience on a remarkable journey to the enchanting and mysterious Arabian kingdom. In the program “Majestic Master” the central idea was to awaken the inherent goodness of our inner self, uplifting the self, thereby illuminating the world. The program concluded with the power pack presentation with loud and clear message that determination is nothing without dedication and hard work.

"The gift of blood is a gift to someone's life".

Raising awareness of blood donation is the need of the hour and keeping that in mind students of Class VII A held an assembly on October 21, 2022. The informative presentation of the skit "Someone Special" highlighted essential facts related to blood donation, types of blood group, minimum age of blood donation for both the donors and the recipients. The assembly concluded with the Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma motivating students to spread the word on the benefits of blood donation for the society at large.

Sagarites of Class II C, presented morning assembly on the topic - “Mistakes are the proof that you are trying”

When you make a mistake, there are only three things you should ever do about it - admit it, learn from it and don’t repeat it. Inspired by this quote , Sagarites of Class II C, presented a well coordinated assembly on the topic - “Mistakes are the proof that you are trying” on September 24, 2022 The objective of the assembly was “It’s not the mistakes that matters, its how you deal with it, what you learn from it and how you apply that lesson to your life.” Students depicted a real life classroom act, which turned out so good that has made difference in their life too. The presentation comprised of - thought of the day, Quiz, News headlines, Musical and dance performance. The platform which was provided to young minds, boosted their confidence towards public speaking and imbibed a feeling of team spirit in their nascent minds.

The students of Class II B presented morning assembly on the topic "BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU WILL"

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. The students of Class II B presented morning assembly on the topic "BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU WILL" on September 23, 2022. A skit depicting if a person believes in himself and his abilities he /she can achieve success in his/her life. The students performed a mesmerizing dance and song. The objective of the assembly was to develop confidence and faith in them and their abilities by accepting their failures and keeping positive attitude.

"A stitch in time saves nine" Addressing to your needs based on their priorities, could help you become successful in future and save you from landing into bigger problems. Students of Narmada House ( Class V), presented a morning assembly on the topic " A stitch in time saves nine", on September 21,2022. A skit depicting how a merchant who pays no heed to his immediate need ,faces problems in the near future. The objective of the assembly was to develop the sense of alertness and the ability to pay attention to even seemingly less important things in our life which later on turns into bigger troubles.

GRANDPARENTS' DAY CELEBRATION @ SPS-SN

Grandparents are a little bit parents, a little bit teachers and a little bit best friends. Celebrating 'Grandparents Day' gives an opportunity to treasure the wonderful bond, honour the grandparents for the sacrifices they make for their family and to spend quality time together. Grandparents Day was celebrated at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on September 14, 2022. The students presented wonderful dances, skit and a song especially composed for the day that gave a feeling to the grandparents of being loved and wanted. Many exciting games were conducted which gave life to the celebration. The celebration of Grandparents Day was a heart touching experience for everyone.

Indian Classical Dance Competition was organized @ SPS SN.

Indian culture is considered very rich and varied. It includes performing arts of various Indian classical dance forms as well. These dance forms help us ease tension and stress, improve mood and promote relaxation. It is also a mode of expression of inner feelings , helping to develop self belief and self confidence. Indian Classical Dance Competition was organized in Sagar Public School Saket Nagar on September 09, 2022, Wednesday. Children gave a vibrant and enthralling performance in Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance forms. They showcased Ganesh Vandana, Bhajan, Thumari, Tarana and Tillana.

An "English Poem Recitation" competition was conducted @ SPS SN.

"POETRY IS THE RHYTHMICAL CREATION OF BEAUTY IN WORDS."
With the above thought, Sagarites of Class I and II participated in the "English Poem Recitation Competition" conducted on September 07, 2022. The children were well prepared with properties and charts. The judges were impressed seeing the enthusiasm, preparedness and confidence of the students. The participants presented their poems well with correct pronunciation and gestures. The messages delivered through the poems were loud and clear.

An "E-Designing Competition" was held for students of Clssses III - V @ SPS SN.

The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless. Believing in the same idea, an "E-Designing Competition" was held for students of Clssses III - V at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on September 07, 2022. The students used technology to give wings to their creativity and made beautiful e-cards, animated stories, fantasy lands etc. It was a thrilling experience observing them.

Teachers Day 2022 celebration @ SPS SN.

It is rightly said that "Teachers' are the pillars of strength and the guiding force in the students life". Teachers' Day is celebrated to mark the birth of our first Vice President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. At Sagar Public School Saket Nagar, on September 05, 2022, Monday, students celebrated Teachers' day with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The students performed various programs to show their gratitude towards the teachers. To bring more joy and fun , lot of activities were also conducted for the teachers . Overall the program was a great success and everyone enjoyed to the fullest.

Monsoon activities - "Fireless Cooking" and "Wind Chime Making" were organized for Class I-ll on September 01, 2022. The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. It was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire. The students prepared healthy "Corn Chaat". Children also learnt to prepare wind chimes on which they wrote things used in rainy season and do's and dont's to be followed during rainy season. Children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and performed with full zeal and enthusiasm.

National Sports Day celebration 2022 @ SPS SN.

"Winners never quit and quitters never win. Sports do not build character. They reveal it" In recognition of the importance of sports in one’s life, the students and teachers of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar celebrated "National Sports Day" to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand on August 29, 2022. The Sports department organised a short programme during morning assembly to mark the occasion. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma, Respected Shri K K Dubey Sir, HOD Sports Mr. Surajbhan along with other sports teachers paid floral tributes to Major Dhyan Chand. Class XI and XII students presented a "Nukkad Natak" highlighting the importance of sports and physical fitness. On this occasion the sports department launched an ambitious year long fitness programme for students and teachers. A friendly basketball match between students and teachers was also organized as a part of the celebration.

To seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the students of Class KG II B presented the morning assembly on August 29, 2022 on the topic "Ganesh Chaturthi." The students explained about the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi. An interesting skit and scintillating invocation dance was performed by the children.
