Grandparents’ Day celebration 2026
Grandparents’ Day celebration was a beautiful tribute to the love, wisdom and warmth of our cherished grandparents. The programme began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana dance. The children recited Bhagavad Gita shlokas. They then expressed their love and gratitude through a heartfelt song and poem dedicated to their grandparents. A beautiful skit showcased the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren and the precious values passed down through generations. The celebration concluded on a joyful note with fun recreational games for our wonderful grandparents, creating many happy and memorable moments.

Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026
Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar celebrated Teachers’ Day with immense enthusiasm and reverence, organized in two special assemblies. In the morning assembly, students of Classes IV to XII, led by the School Council Team, presented a vibrant and well-coordinated programme. A graceful dance performance by the primary students set the tone, expressing heartfelt gratitude to their teachers. This was followed by a thought-provoking skit, “Parshuram and Karna Samvad – Guru ke Prati Aadar”, which beautifully highlighted the values of respect and devotion towards one’s Guru. The programme was further enriched by an inspiring address by “Respected Principal Ma’am”, which motivated one and all. The celebration concluded on a melodious and memorable note.\r\nThe second celebration was held during the Junior Assembly, where students of “Classes I to III” showcased their love and affection. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to “Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan”. Students expressed their gratitude through soulful songs, instrumental music and graceful dance performances. A meaningful skit depicting the timeless “Guru-Shishya Parampara” through the stories of Karna-Parshuram and Krishna-Arjuna beautifully conveyed the ideals of respect, dedication and lifelong learning. Principal Ma’am appreciated the efforts of the students and staff and emphasized the sacred and eternal bond between a teacher and a learner. Both celebrations concluded with a deep sense of gratitude and reverence for the teaching fraternity. A heartfelt salute to all the teachers who shape the future with love, dedication and wisdom!

Janmashtami Celebration 2026
The pre-primary wing of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, resonated with festive joy and spiritual enthusiasm on Thursday, September 3, 2026, as the young learners celebrated the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.\r\nThe highlight of the morning was a special assembly presented by the students of KG-I A. The children took to the stage with confidence, sharing the significance of the festival through devotional hymns, cheerful rhymes, and short narrations depicting the birth of Kanha. Their soulful presentation set a pious and festive tone. Adding charm to the festivities, the Nursery children arrived dressed up in traditional attire as adorable little Gopis and Gwalas, instantly turning the school campus into a lively, joyful Gokul. To give the students a hands-on connection to the festival’s symbols, age-appropriate craft activities were organized across all levels. Nursery students enthusiastically crafted colourful flute handouts. KG-I students designed vibrant peacock feather and the students of KG-II fashioned beautiful handmade paper headgear crowned with peacock feather. The celebration provided a delightful blend of cultural learning, creative expression, and stage exposure, leaving the children with fond memories of the day.

80th Independence Day Celebrations
सागर पब्लिक स्कूल, साकेत नगर में 80वाँ स्वतंत्रता दिवस देशभक्ति एवं उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्राचार्या महोदया श्रीमती पंकज शर्मा एवं आदरणीय श्री के. के. दुबे द्वारा ध्वजारोहण से हुआ।\r\nविद्यालय के चारों सदनों के विद्यार्थियों ने मनमोहक देशभक्ति गीत प्रस्तुत किए। देशभक्ति गीत प्रतियोगिता के निर्णायक के रूप में विद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र शुभांश दुबे एवं समीक्षा जोशी उपस्थित रहे। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों की प्रस्तुतियों का मूल्यांकन किया तथा उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया। कक्षा IX एवं X के विद्यार्थियों ने प्रभावशाली भाषणों के माध्यम से राष्ट्रप्रेम एवं नागरिकों के कर्तव्यों का संदेश दिया। विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत कविता वाचन तथा समूह नृत्य ने सभी का मन मोह लिया। प्राचार्या महोदया ने अपने प्रेरणादायी उद्बोधन में विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्रप्रेम, अनुशासन, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा तथा उत्कृष्ट नागरिक बनने का संदेश दिया। राष्ट्रीय गीत ‘वंदे मातरम्’ के सामूहिक गायन के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ। सम्पूर्ण आयोजन ने सभी के हृदय में राष्ट्रप्रेम, एकता और देश के प्रति समर्पण की भावना को और अधिक प्रबल किया।

Fire Safety Mock Drill
As part of our commitment to student safety, a Fire Safety Mock Drill was successfully conducted in the school today. The drill was carried out with complete discipline and in accordance with all safety protocols. Students and staff participated in a timely and safe evacuation to the designated assembly areas. The exercise also included awareness about fire safety precautions and a demonstration of emergency response procedures. Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27
“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”\r\nSagar Public School, Saket Nagar, Bhopal organised its 26th Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27 on July 1, 2026 , marking a momentous day of leadership and responsibility. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Madam Mini Shukla, IPS (ADCP, Zone-2, Bhopal Urban Police), alongside school dignitaries, parents, and teachers.\r\nThe ceremony commenced with a grand Guard of Honour by the school band, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma extended a warm green welcome to the Chief Guest, setting an inspiring tone for the morning. A soul-stirring musical performance by the SPS Choir further energised the atmosphere.\r\nThe highlight of the event was the pinning of badges and sashes. Pranshu Sharma and Siddhi Soni were invested as the Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively, while Protyush Balapure and Kavika Gupta took charge as Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. Leadership roles were also conferred upon the Sports Captains,Literary Secretary,Cultural Secretary,Discipline Secretary, House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects across the four houses: Ganga, Kaveri, Narmada, and Yamuna. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma administered the oath of office, guiding the new student council to pledge their commitment to the school’s legacy.\r\nChief Guest Madam Mini Shukla, IPS, motivated the student leaders with her inspiring words, emphasising resilience, discipline, and focused willpower. Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, successfully organized a series of National Trips for students of Classes V - VIII from March 13 to 21, 2026, offering them a perfect blend of learning and recreation during the academic session.\r\n\r\nThe students of Classes V and VI visited Hyderabad, where they explored the world-renowned Ramoji Film City, enjoyed an engaging Laser Show, and experienced the unique ambience of Snow World.
